Inspiration
by Eileen OShea
I recently went to a class at a program called Dance for PD (Parkinson’s Disease)… One is a dance class, taught by members of the Dance Group, one is a singing class, and the one I attended was a movement lab. The lab is run by Pamela Quinn, a dancer who has had PD for 15 years.
I was inspired (and a bit envious) to see Pam move much more smoothly and gracefully than I can.

Workshop
by Sandye Acevedo
Today I went to a movement/dance workshop given by Pamela Quinn, (new friend with Parkinson’s) in Brooklyn at the Mark Morris Dance Center. I was a little hesitant at first, after the last support group for Parkinson’s I went to left me sad and anxious. Pamela was sure to introduce me to everyone who came in” this is Sandye she is new to class and to Parkinson’s.”

Friday’s in Brooklyn
by Sandye Acevedo
Second time attending the movement class in Brooklyn, I’m getting to know everyone and just like me there is a story hidden behind the disease.
